Back in May 2019 I was contacted by The New Ashgate gallery to see if I would be interested in showing some pieces in their spring exhibition. I was of course very excited to be asked and after some discussion we agreed on which designs they liked the best and how many pieces I would create for the show.
I decided to use my British birds on the forms and to place a variety of native butterflies, moths and flowers on the wall hangings. It was a lovely firing and all the colours on the pieces came out really well.
The show will run from the 18th of Jan until the 18th of April and the Gallery is situated in the lovely Surrey town of Farnham. I’m very excited to see the other artists taking part and hope that you may be able to pop along and see the exhibition.
