My designs and forms are ever changing and I love working on and testing new ideas.
I have recently been working on some new open topped forms which are very different from my usual closed neck vessels I create. I chose to start with some fancy fish as these have great movement and colours and I could really open up the decoration. I used a selection of my red and soft orange slips and I'm excited to see how they fire. These pieces are very different to work on as the top is open so the form dries so much quicker than my other shapes. I am excited in developing the tops to show more movement and over lapping of the decoration to the inside of the piece.
